This tool is an adaptation of the DCBE: situational test for the Development of Basic Employability Competencies (Arnau-Sabatés et al., 2014; Sala-Roca et al., 2021), which poses five situations with different questions in which one answer must be chosen from five possible answers. It can be designed as an online questionnaire or in paper format.
This test is evaluated and based on the model of eight competencies (Arnau-Sabatés et al., 2014), which are: self-organization, construction of the professional project, decision making and problem solving, teamwork, communication, perseverance, flexibility and responsibility.
The tool will be applied to the migrant woman with whom the educator intervenes once the Empathize phase (initial assessment) has been completed, as well as once the Design Thinking process has been completed, that is, when the Realize phase (final assessment) has been completed. This will allow to observe the evolution of the migrant woman after having experienced the Design Thinking process.
